I’m writing this from London, I have come over to work with Hay House to record video content for my book, Energy Healing. I guess you could say “do something every day that scares you” and this would be my thing! However once I get into the content, the actual work itself, I forget to be scared because it’s why I am here.

Perhaps 2016 is the year for those of you who already know why you are here, to step up to the challenge of being that. And perhaps for those of you that don’t know why you’re here, it’s time for you to step up to the challenge of being here, more. Because it’s only by being here, being fully present, that you can know what lights you up, and doing what lights you up is truly what you are meant to be doing. Whether it’s gardening, cooking, writing, playing with your children (or your pets), going for a walk, singing, if it lights you up, then do more of that.

Don’t worry though, if you’ve already “broken” any New Years resolutions you may have made. Take a moment to let that feeling of regret/animosity towards yourself wash away. That doesn’t light you up at all. Anything that dampens your light, do less of that.

So how about this for your new year’s goal? Do more of what lights you up, do less of what dampens your light. Maybe you need to spend some time figuring out both of these things. Well, give yourself a year to do it!
