What is a Daily Spiritual Practice and Why do I need one?

People in the ‘know’ say that you have to meditate for at least 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening to have a daily Spiritual Practice. You need one so you can reconnect to yourself, and disconnect from the world outside, so you can be in balance with life. Meditating for an hour is even better. But we lead busy lives so this very rarely happens. Worse still, knowing that you didn’t do what you wanted to do that day makes you feel bad. As the days go by, not being able to do your meditation practice is another reason for you to berate yourself.

But here’s the thing – when you’re sitting there for that 30 minutes, how do you know you’re doing “it” right? 

When clients describe their meditation practice to me in detail I have found that they’re not really meditating, they’re siting there trying not to think, and then fighting themselves for their allocated time about not being able to be still and silent. Such an effort isn’t it? No matter what type of meditation you do, whether it’s vipassana, transcendental or mindfulness, people have trouble sitting still because they don’t want to feel what they are feeling. It’s not a spiritual practice at all, because if you stay in your head you’re not really present to your heart. And it’s in your heart where the magic happens.

A Spiritual Practice is anything that disconnects you from what is going on outside of you, and brings you back into your heart.

Yes! The real issue is that people don’t want to feel what they are feeling so they stay in their heads, and they don’t connect to their heart, or to their Soul. But sometimes we are feeling too many things – and a lot of them are not ours!! We can feel other people’s sadness and pain, just because we are alive. Over time it builds up inside of us, getting heavier and heavier, until it becomes so uncomfortable. No wonder people don’t want to feel it! It’s overwhelming.

Worse still, when you carry large amounts of emotional pain, it changes the overall vibration of your body, so that you become a magnet for more emotional pain. That’s the Law of Attraction in action. 

Don’t worry – I can help. By using deep, energy healing techniques I can help you transmute what is not your pain, that which you don’t want to feel, so that instead of everyone’s pain, you only feel what is yours – and that’s a lot more manageable. I know it sounds strange, but once you are familiar with techniques where you can release other people’s pain you are better able to accept what is yours, release what is not yours, and be with yourself in your wholeness. It’s very empowering.

I don’t believe you need to make a song and dance out of your Spiritual Practice either – so let go of your incense and candles, don’t worry about creating an uninterrupted peaceful space, because you don’t actually need any of those things. Thinking that you need them actually stops you from reconnecting to your heart and to the source of who you are. Because the silence will never be, truly silent. And you can connect to your centre, anytime, anywhere, no matter what is going on around you, if you know how to do it.

Why do I need to Raise my Vibration?

You are a living vibrant being, in flow, in motion, always changing. Your vibration is the frequency at which you resonate with life.  The Law of Magnetic Attraction states that the resonance of your vibration will attract more of the same. So in Bootcamp we work towards raising the frequency of your baseline vibration, so you can attract in higher emotional energies, and higher experiences too! What we will be doing in Bootcamp this September 2018

This September in my Raise your Vibration Bootcamp online programme I will be helping you shed heavy energy so you are more comfortable to feel what you are feeling, reconnect with your heart and develop a constant and consistent daily spiritual practice that will keep you going throughout the rest of the year.

All of the things that we do on this programme I will be teaching you how to do for yourself – so you will learn how to release pain that you may be feeling that isn’t yours, to disconnect from unhealthy energy cords in relationships, and to ground and centre yourself in your heart. And you can do this for yourself, for the rest of your life.

For the first 7 days I will help you release whatever is standing in your way of healing and becoming your best self, so that you shed fear around doing the work. For the next 15 days we will work together to clear and heal whatever is holding you back in life such as energy blocks, stuck emotions, entanglements in relationships. The types of things we will do include: deep grounding, receiving healing, cutting cords, releasing ancestral contracts, clearing past life wounding, healing trauma, releasing DNA and activating your higher self.

You will be part of a group, supported in your journey, for whatever may come up for you as you let go of heavy and slow vibrational energies, get your power back, learn who you are and what you love, so that you can create a happier and more meaningful life for yourself.

All you need is a computer and 10 minutes a day. Tasks are delivered by email, there will be 2 recorded webinars, lots of videos, audio files and more. You get to keep all the files to re-use, forever. You also have an option to join our Facebook group and meet the other participants, make new friends and community, and share what’s coming up for you as you do the work.

At the end of Bootcamp I will challenge you to continue with your practice for a further 7 days, you can create a plan with your favourite (and not so favourite) tasks, so you keep going to make a full 30 days, creating a new habit that gets easier to integrate into your day.

About Raise Your Vibration Bootcamp

There will be two healing webinars, a secret, private Facebook group to play in, and an email every day giving you 10-15 minutes worth of work to help you get started on your own spiritual healing practice.

We will clear the blocks holding you back from your best and happiest life, and then you can learn how to keep your vibration high with the daily exercises I will send you, and the support from the group will keep you motivated, even after the programme has ended.

I recommend you continue your own practice for a further 10 days, because anything you do for over 30 days becomes a new habit!

What to expect :

  • You will receive a total of 21 emails, one each day for the duration of the programme
  • Each email will contain a task for you to do that day in the form of a reflective exercise, an audio meditation or a video.
  • The task for each email should take you only 10/15 minutes to complete, which you can do in your own time, anytime that day.
  • You will be invited to a healing opening webinar and a healing closing webinar.
    • In the opening webinar, the group sets intention for the work to come in, we release the fears around healing and around doing the work and then you will experience a deep, powerful clearing of those fears to raise you up and get you started on the right note.
    • The closing webinar looks at where we have been during the programme, answers any questions around what may have come up, and there again is a deep, powerful healing to transform any emotional debris or energetic weight that you may have trouble clearing yourself.
    • You will receive a recording for both webinars if you cannot make the live sessions, and the healing in the recording I’ve been told can be even more powerful!
  • You will be supported as you work through the tasks through access to a Secret Private Facebook Group, where you can discuss your progress and receive support from the other members of Bootcamp (optional)
  • You are encouraged to use the tasks as a basis for a daily self-care practice which you can then continue long after the Bootcamp is over

Why 21 Days?

The programme is 21 days because that creates lasting change. It will only take you 10-15 minutes a day, at a time that suits you. There will be 7 full days of healing, 7 days of embodiment and 7 days to help you get into balance.

When bootcamp is over, if you continue with your daily practice, using the exercises that I have given you, you have a high chance of being able to retain the new, higher energies. You will see your life change around you because your energy has changed.

What is my Vibration?

Your vibration is your personal energy signature.  When you have a low vibration, you resonate with depression, sadness, anger, fear, disappointment. A high vibration matches joy, happiness, good health, positivity and love.

Why do I want to Raise my Vibration?

When we are born we come into this world vibrating at a certain frequency. It is our “energy signature”,  like a finger print. Our vibration relates to the energy flow in and around our body which is connected to our general health in a holistic sense. Our energetic signature plus our vibration is what makes us who we are – it is connected to how fast we process ideas, emotions and situations; whether we are happy or sad; if we love life or would rather stay in bed. Join my online class and we will have three weeks to clear heaviness such as fear, grief, doubt, anger and sadness. Why it’s so important for you to accept yourself in your Wholeness

A cuttlefish has a remarkable ability to blend into it’s environment. When the sand below is dark, it picks up the mottled dark patterns, and practically disappears, making it difficult to find. When the sand below changes to pale, the cuttlefish also turns pale, all the better to hide and catch prey, and not be seen by it’s predators. If you take a cuttlefish out of it’s natural environment and place it somewhere unnatural, say, on a tiled floor, it takes up the patterns of the tiles, as unnatural as they are, it’s more important to the cuttlefish to blend in, than to stand out.

People do this too. To fit in, to hide, or to please others, we can change our personalities depending on who we are with. One personality for work – strong, practical, efficient. One personality for family – dependable, unemotional, helpful. Whether these aspects of us are natural, or unnatural, just like the cuttlefish, it feels more important to us to be accepted then to stand out. 

What happens over time is that we forget who we are, underneath all the helpfulness, the practical-ness, the strength that we show on the outside. We forget what we love, what makes us happy, even to the extent of not even knowing what our favourite colour is, or what we can do for ourselves to make ourselves happy. And when we get lost, we get unhappy, depressed, or even ill. It’s not good for our soul, and we loose our zest for life.

We are then unable to connect to the source of who we are, disconnect from other people’s pain and claim our space in the world as the valuable, creative individuals that we are. Bootcamp helps you reclaim your space, feel more empowered to be you, just as you are.

It’s like the emotional equivalent of clearing the drains and gutters of a house- it’s messy, it’s hard work and at times it’s not enjoyable but it’s totally essential maintenance and if you don’t do it you get blocked, you get flooded with emotions and you overflow with overwhelm. When you clear these emotional drains and gutters everything flows freely. You are back in the flow, emotionally & energetically. So my advice is muck in do the work & enjoy the benefits.

A deep cleansing, powerful healing process. Following this particular bootcamp, I would say be ready for a rollercoaster ride of releasing and letting go of old patterns.
